Fantastic! TY AGAIN TRACKSTAR!

Dec 02, 2023

To quote the "Beastie Boys - The Blue Nun" sample:
([Woman] What's the secret, Peter?
[Peter] "Naturally, I'll say it's the wine"
[Woman] Mmmm, it does go well with the chicken!)
The chicken here is my Stampede's trusty ole 200a Traxxas 3355x sensored 2 pole esc, the wine is red, and it's the Trackstar SCT 5.5t! And it does go VERY WELL with the chicken!

Nice and powerful, had to turn the bit on the back down to get it just right for my 3S 1:10 Thunder Tiger ts4n conversion.
Had a duff one first but HK-UK refunded in about 10 days no problem. Was really easy despite what I have read!

absolute top-notch motor. Scary powerful. I use it as the single power-unit in a Tamiya TXT-1 (with some Agrios parts) with a 17t pinion (yes, 17tooth. This motor pulls that easy). I even had to dial back the accelleration setting, because it kept ripping the tires from the wheels, despite having glued them to the wheels with a very strong variation of shoe-goo. It also ripped the diffs to shreds on 3s.

So, in retrospect, not really advisable, 3s. It'll work, but it'll get fairly hot. VERY powerful, though..

It's frugal with the amps too. 10 Minutes of lugging the heavy TXT-1 through grass and muck, it had only used about 2500mah of my turnigy 4000mah 2s. I'd say that this motor, short of a big 1/8 4s type motor, is one of the best and most affordable motors for heavy monstertrucks, and should be considered for more cars than shortcourse trucks.

Oh, and despite the open construction, I haven't had a lot of trouble in the wet. Possibly because motor&esc sit very high on rthe TXT, but also fine sand never caused real trouble. Blowing out the sand after driving was enough every time.

Looked well built, smooth slop free bearings. It ran hot, despite gearing way down in a Losi SCTE on 2S. Really needs to be a 4 pole design to compete and be efficient. It turns your battery power into heat, not motion....

I had this motor for a while now plenty of power and speed wish it can handle 4s but 3 is awesome it make my truck do back flips when i punch it while already doing about 50mph means I'm moving and it still have power to throw around...so far not disappointed at all....

I use this BL on my slash 4x4 with mamba max pro esc (without sensor) and 2S 5000 lipo.
It's a bit better than velineon, but not really more.
A good replacement product, but don't expect amazing perfs. For that, prefer a 1/8 motor, like trackstar 2560Kv.

The motor provides abundant clean power. I have it in a sc10 4x4 geared fairly high and it handles the runs with little difficulty.
The sensor cable is a bit frail.
