TURNIGY XK motors are without question one of the best motors on the market today. It all starts in our very own factory where we install precision bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced rotors, tool-steel shafts and stators that are wound by hand. We rigorously test each and every component at 14 critical points during construction, testing everything from materials all the way through to final performance tests.

Because we design and build these motors completely in-house we control the production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping. We removed the middle-man to bring you factory prices while not sacrificing quality or performance.

Features:
• Hand-wound for maximum copper fill.
• Precision-balanced rotor will boost the efficiency and power performance of the motor.
• Nickel-plated sintered neodymium rotor for maximum motor acceleration, braking power and performance in high-temperature conditions.

Click on this link below to see pics of the Motor in the Redcat Racing Volcano-18. The Motor performs flawlessly. No Cogging whatsoever. It works as advertised and I just love it. It's worth buying. It just don't have enough torque to yank the front end up to do wheelies. I had other problems with the truck that don't have any bearing on the electronics that were installed. https://youtu.be/Fbl44PkXkvE

I teamed this motor with a Turnigy Trackstar 30A 1/18 - 1/16 ESC, http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__70337__Trackstar_30A_1_16th_Scale_Sensorless_Brushless_ESC.html , that I installed in a Redcat Racing 4WD Volcano-18 which is, for the most part, a 1/18 Himoto 4WD Mastadon. There are some photos for you to see in the file section of how I installed this combo. The Volcano-18 came originally with a 370 size Brushed motor that stopped working on its maiden cruise in the dirt at Clarks Park in Philly. I picked this combo because. I can get some nice speed runs on asphalt on 3S and on 2S I can bash all day in dirt. The 2430 size of this motor is equivalent to a 370 size motor so it was an exact drop in fit. I had to add a receiver since the original was a 2in1 RX/ESC Combo deal. This setup made this lil MT a BEAST!! Now, the Truck should outrun my 1/18 Brushless Himoto 4WD Spino.
