not the fastest of the bunch , but runs cool ( 43 C ) even with a lot of esc timing dialed in ( 26.5 degrees ) , pairs up wel with the x-car 120A esc , only downside is the lack of endbell timing

Good Product. its nice to have venting holes and lots of screw holes options.
Too bad it is only 2 poles.

Just received my oder today, I bought this for my drift car.
Nice motor, smooth action, but no sensor wire and no manual included. And I think it's a bit lower kv, than 3900. But overall good quality for money, recommended.

Installed this motor today. First of will say it is nicely made, finish is good, looks nice. Put it in a losi xxx-t. The motor runs well, however I have gone up 4 teeth on pinion to get the same speed as the 3650 3900kv tacon that it replaced and noticeably slower than a novak 10.5 with same gearing (which is rated at 4200kv so a little difference is expected) This is the only reason for the 4 crown overall. Initially used a mamba max esc to compare back to back, and get the gearing for equal speed. No noticeable cogging, smooth powerband, maybe not as powerful as the tacon of same rating, but no temp issues, and ran well. Final installation was with the new hobbyking sensored 35a esc. Again very smooth on takeoff, motor & esc stayed cool. Ran up and down the road a few minutes on 3s just to see how it handled it, which it did fine even though not rated for that. Ran 2 heats and a main tonight with the combo and very pleased. If it had to do over again I would have maybe gotten a higher kv motor, but with gearing suits me fine. Overall its a great buy that can't be beat for the money.
