Wish it came with some wires so I wouldn't have to solder.

Put this in my DB01 4WD buggy and it is a seriously quick motor, maybe not as quick as the equivalent from one of the big brands but then it is also about a third of the price. My only complaint is that it has fixed timing but when you have this much power does it really matter? I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants a cheap mod motor for racing, but only when your motor is in-board as the ventilation holes could pose a problem for rear mount motors in buggies such as TRF201 or B4.

Excellent motor!!! Use it on my Tamiya F103GT 2wd. Esc was Turnigy Trackstar 60A, Lipo Turnigy 4000mah 2s hardcase, gear at 3.61. After 15min run everything is only slight warm to touch!
The motor is so quiet when running, motor start smooth with minimal cogging in sensorless mode. Good construction and strong magnet. Thanks Hobbyking!!!

Drive it on the HPI Sprint 2 with HK 100A sensor, it is worth every cent. Cheap and strong, works well.

Easy to solder, solder took to the cups very easily. The actual colour of the motor is not black as the picture leads to believe, it's grey. Bench runs fine with the sensored 60A car esc in sensored mode.

It's build construction is excellent and very clean with access to both end bearings to add some scorpion oil when needed without having to open it up. Hand turning the shaft suggests a very strong magnet.
