XT30 is the new connector on the block and it is perfect for Mini RC use! Forget about mini JST or Mini T-connectors or even bulky XT60 for smaller applications, we have designed the XT30 to meet the needs of the mini revolution. From 250 class Quadcopters to foamy flyers this is the new standard for you!
Made from high-temp Nylon and gold plated spring connectors, both are included in the same injection mold at the time when forming the connector. The XT30 ensures a solid high-amp connection, perfect for applications up to and beyond 35A constant.
Hobbyking will begin to include the XT30 on some spec batteries in the near future!
XT30, Designed by hexTronik to be more reliable and a better quality connection than Mini Deans T-Connectors and Mini JST for the given size and weight.
There is no patent on the XT30 connector, we hope this product is sold everywhere in the world and dominates the market, reducing customer dependency on the over-priced and underperforming alternatives for this amp class.
• Gold plated Connections
• Long connection contact points for better current flow
• Fills a gap for the Mini connectors
• Small and light weight
Amps: 30A Continuous
Weight: 0.7g male, 0.9g female, 1.7g as a set
Size: Male=12x11x6mm Female=13x11x6mm
Contact current transfer size: 2x6mm
IMPORTANT: "These are not cheap copied XT30 plugs. These original Nylon XT30 plugs, manufactured by AMASS, can handle over 30A current for extended periods without exceeding 80DegC thanks to their better contact surface area. The plug is also less likely to deform or melt in comparison to copied non-Nylon XT30 plugs."
These are superb connectors they will fit wires up to 16AWG - ie 16g, 18g & 20g for low current demands. Easily handles it's rated maximum of 30A. Easy to plug and unplug too. Cant buy better for UMX type models or smaller Hotliners such as the hk Russel. Also, Catta made a great point below when he said "easy to reuse and solder". A forty watt soldering iron should do the trick. I gave them 15/15 but wanted to rate them 20/15 sincerely, Phil ElliottPassen saugend ineinander. Das Plastikmaterial des Stecker ist so Hitzefest das die Kontakte auch nach merhmaligen an und um Löten in Form bleiben und sich nicht " ausschmelzen"
Gute SteckerI've move to these in situations where JST's have been the norm. These are soo much better & easier to reuse or resolder & much high Amp rating.Works fine if you are just cruising around. Mine overheated and melted the plastic when doing some aggressive flying with my quad. It fused the connectors together and had to cut the wire. Such a shame, I liked its compact design. When you solder your cables on it dont forget this little connectors can be melted. Not like XT60 connectors. Once you solder succesfully it performs its job very well. Saves weight for your airborne.
Not available for a application which requires more than 35 amps. It is a solid deadline for this little connectors.
Overall Rating is Good!
Price - Performance is very well
Thanks Hobbyking!very compact and lowplice.perfect little connector for my small planes and mini quadsIt is the best mini connectors there in the market. I used them on all of my park fly models and they work better then usual JST. Only down side is that during the soldering it is wary easy to owerheat them becouse of the small size, but if you have good soldering iron it is not a problem at all. For me it is the the best mini connectors, easy to use, easy to solder, light weight and perfect quality. My build box will always have these in it. You don't want to be stuck waiting on a connector to finish a model.cant go wrong with them
