Product Description

An easy flowing lead free solder wire that is perfect for use on lots of soldering projects. Being lead free it has a higher melting point than standard solder with a high lead content but it gives a stronger bond and is less susceptible to mechanical fatigue.

Der Vorteil besteht in der härteren und stabileren Lötverbindung. Jedoch benötigt man dafür auch eine Höhere Temperatur und das Lot fließt deutlich schlechter, d.h. es ist entsprechend schwieriger eine gute Lötstelle hin zu bekommen.
Leiterplatten würde ich damit definitiv nicht löten, aber für mechanisch belastete Lötverbindungen, z.B. bei Fahrwerken ist es eine klare, preiswerte Kaufempfehlung. Zumindest wenn man keine Möglichkeit hat gleich hart zu löteten oder zu schweißen.
