The Dancing Wings Hobby Edge 540 is a large lightweight profile-style foam kit that is quick and simple to build. The full-size Edge 540 is a highly aerobatic airplane with an incredible roll rate of 420° per second and a climb rate of around 3,700ft per minute. With a suitable power train, this Dancing Wings Hobby Edge 540 is capable of what the full size can do and loads more. With the added side force generators knife flying is a breeze, and 3D maneuvers such as waterfalls, harriers, knife-edge loops, rolling circles, and much more are all possible.
The model is very straightforward to assemble, it is manufactured in pre-painted high-quality EPP foam sheet for the majority of the construction so the parts count is quite low, and carbon strips are supplied for strengthening. It builds up quickly into a good-looking, fun-to-fly lightweight sport 3D plane that is perfect for park flying and on playing fields. This ARF kit is supplied with a powerful 2216-950KV brushless motor, 30A brushless ESC, 10" propeller, and 4 x 9g servos.
