El Durafly EFX Racer ha sido diseñado desde cero para ofrecer la velocidad (100 mph +) y la fuerza normalmente reservado sólo para los modelos completos compuestos de gama alta, pero con el manejo y la satisfacción solamente un modelo Durafly puede ofrecer.

Este (43 ") modelo lapso de 1100 mm cuenta con una enorme lista de características de alto rendimiento que marcan la EFX aparte de la competencia. El outrunner 2300kv 28 mm sin escobillas (diseñado especialmente para el EFX) utiliza rodamientos japoneses ultra alta velocidad por sólo el mejor rendimiento. La preinstalada Durafly 50amp CES ha sido optimizado para ofrecer sin problemas la potencia que necesita, cuando lo desee y todas las superficies de control utiliza alta velocidad, alto par 9g digital del servo (metal orientado sobre los alerones), junto con los conectores de enlace de bola para entregar una verdadera precisión y el control a través de salida el rango de velocidad.

El alto rendimiento de la EFX Racer no termina con la electrónica. El fuselaje ha sido diseñado para ser a la vez rígido y ligero, utilizando ambos refuerzos de vidrio y fibra de carbono en todo el modelo en combinación con el Super Comprimido EPO de la espuma y un acabado de superficie muy pulida para ofrecer el máximo rendimiento en el aire y la más elegante de las miradas de el terreno. Siguiendo el manual completa suministrada, los clips y tornillos juntos en cuestión de minutos EFX. Conectar las superficies de control a los servos e instalar su propia elección de receptor y LiPoly paquete y ya está listo para volar!

La versatilidad es otra de las características de diseño del EFX Racer. Nada más sacarlo de la caja que está provista de dos opciones diferentes de potencia, 6x5 para 3CELL y 5x5 para 4CELL. Para un buen rendimiento deportivo todo alrededor de una lipo 2200mAh 3S en el 6x5 dará una buena velocidad y se recomienda para los pilotos con menos experiencia con los modelos rápidos. Sin embargo, para los verdaderos altas velocidades y potencia cuando se abre el acelerador, un 1800mah 4S en el 5x5 es la elección ganadores y tendrán que ir más de 100 mph. Para la máxima velocidad / rendimiento en 4CELL, un 5.5x4.5 se recomienda para 100 mph +.

Complementando las increíbles velocidades del EFX es impresionante agilidad en el aire. Un simple por debajo del brazo de lanzamiento mano en 3/4 de gas a partir de pie obtiene el EFX en el aire y que tendrá vertical ilimitado tan pronto como se abra hasta completos (4S). Una casa llena de controles (alerón, elevador, timón) da un rendimiento notable acrobacias aéreas EFX. Los bucles pueden ser tan grandes como usted desee, rollos son muy precisos, ya sea rápido o lento y la EFX filo de la cuchilla durante todo el día! The EFX Racer is a quality plane that could 5 stars all around. The overall rating and value go down because H.K. is always out of stock on planes and parts. This is true of most of their products which is the number one reason to buy from another supplier and pay a few dollars more. What is the point of buying a plane and saving a few dollars when you frequently can't get parts.

This airplane is very fast and easy to fly. My only problem with this plane as with many others is that there are no parts available. I am seriously looking for similar planes to those HK offers because other sites offer parts and product support. In reading other reviews, I am far from the only HK customer that feels this way. Get it together, HK.

I received this plane last week but haven't flown it yet. It came without a rudder horn. I
Wrote in about it but all i get is the runaround. They tell me to take a picture of the missing part. If I don't have it I can't take a picture of it. Duhhhh! They know what plane I bought, They should know what a rudder horn is. HK customer service sucks.
The plane however seems to be well built. If I get the proper rudder horn I will be happy.
Guess I'll have to look in the bone yard and see whats fits.

By now I have over 140 flights on this EFX Racer. Got a motor burn once because of using APC prop 6x5.5 on 4s 1800mah. I order a new NTM 3000kv instead of stock NTM 2300kv. Now I'm using graupner speed prop 6x5.5 on 3S and it fly almost like 4s on stock motor. I'm thinking replace servo on the aileron. Don't know how long stock servo would last before it die. This EFX Racer is fun to fly and it will be favorite to pack when go fly.

Love this plane! Made 6 flights with it. not much but 3 where without wind and 3 with lots of wind and it still kept stabile! Its not a starter plane! But if you want to get into faster planes BUY IT :D

This is a pre flight review. The quality of the plane is great - every thing fits together neatly, foam is smooth and tough and all electrical components are functioning as expected (on the test bench. The wing feels extremely rigid with at least two spars in evidence. The Rx and battery fit in as the instructions say wit no fuss (it is not difficult to get the battery in and out) though with the battery (Zippy 1800 4S) all the way forward it is still a bit tail heavy so will need a bit of lead up front (or a bigger battery). My only criticisms are that the aileron servo wires do not quite reach the Rx (or will be very fiddly to connect) and so will need some 10cm extensions, and the horizontal stabiliser is slightly off being parallel to the wing (down slightly on the right) so will need some packing or maybe gluing. Neither issue is much but it means assembly time is increased a bit. I am looking forward to flying it (a bit nervously as I have not done an underhand launch and it feels quite heavy for its size).

Got it a few days ago, first impression: a very nice plane and good quality. Tried to change the cross aluminium motor mount to the carbon one, but even with heat, it was impossible to get the 4 screws for the motor loose. Ok, i`ve to go with the alloy motor mount, and if it breaks, i need a new motor or have to try again. Now i`m just thinking how i can get my telemetry sensor inside for battery watching. As i tried to balance the plane, i found it a little tail heavy. Maybe i`ll move the ESC forward behind the motor, shorten the wires and then place the sensor there, too. There`s not much room in the fuselage, but i`m sure all will fit nice after i found the right palces for everything.

One of my favorite Hobbyking models. Flies magnificently. A very aerobatic and fast plane, do not recommend for beginners, maybe as a third or fourth plane. Apart from this, it is a very easy plane to fly, tracks like an arrow and has unlimited vertical. On my first flight I ran the plane on a 1800 mah 4 cell battery with the 5 x 5 prop with no worries at all (needs some nose weight to get the COG spot on). I also fly it on a slightly heavier 2200 mah 4 cell with no problems. When you launch the model I recommend an underarm launch with about 3/4 throttle. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE IT A STRONG THROW, not a little pathetic little nudge. You MUST give the plane a strong start or it will Tip stall and crash (plenty of videos on youtube of that happening). The plane will cruise at or even below half throttle for about 15 minute flight times. With full throttle passes, about 7 or so minutes of flight time. The model glides magnificently (almost too well) so you will need to cut the throttle very early on your downwind approach to get a nice landing. The new EFX Racer comes with a carbon fibre motor mount, so you won't need to worry about replacing that in the future. Impressed with the quality of this model and it truly does perform. I have a lot fun with the efx racer. Even I got some replacement parts.

After a little tuning mines goes around 230 km/h. I fly it now with 4s 65C, 60 Amp SBEC, APC 4.1X4.1 propeller and NTM 2836 3000kV. It's a rocket now.

First let me start by saying I love this plane, but it really should be reinforced a little bit more for 4S. I bought one of these and loved learning to fly fast planes with it, never crashed it but once on my first time landing, stalled a little and one of the wings hit the ground and broke the winglet off. No problem, a little CA and flying again. This was all before I felt comfortable with the craft and switched to 4S. On my second flight on a 4S battery i decided to open it up and have a little fun when disaster struck, the left wing ripped off completely and i was in smooth level flight! Of course after this happened the plane went into a death roll and hit the pavement just out of my field, total loss. Motor is done for, two of the servos stripped, not to mention the carbon rod in the wing was snapped from the separation. At first I was willing to blame this on my earlier wing tip breakoff having caused stress to the wing, but the wing that ripped off was the opposite one! I will by another, but im gonna be nervous to fly it around people...
