A lot of plane for the money, but there were serious quality issues. The balsa and film parts are great, but the fiberglass parts are really bad. Mine arrived with a crack along the seam under the fuselage, a misaligned wing seat that required major surgery to repair, and a very crooked vertical fin, which was repaired with heat and an internal support. The gelcoat cracks if you look at it too hard as well.

The scale outline is ok. It's heaps better than the alternative ARF's (VQ, for example ,which looks like a joke), but there are flaws. Still, it can look really convincing once finished in a decent paint job.

Bought this plane back when they had them in the US West warehouse for $180. With shipping it came to $240 so it was a no brainer since I wanted a Veltro and being able to put a DLE-35 out front sounded great. Using electric retracts from HK and modifying a set of offset struts from HK to fit.

Not having markings was OK, using a set of German markings from Cali Grafics and she looks real cool (yes the Germans had a few squadrons of these).

This will be a winter/spring project and yes, even at the current >$300 price I'd buy it.
