After 50 lipos.., opinion and some tips.

Dec 08, 2016

Initially I had a bad motor (also front right) but once fixed I reckon this is a great quad.
When flown with the right (6 inch) props Its faster and more agile than my Eachine 250 Racer. I've switched both sticks AND wires to change mode one to two (check directions in TX) Landing gear is easily lost with a rough landing. I use a tie rib to keep it in place.
If you still lose one you can buy a spare frame (Identical but without the top bit) for around 7 euro on other websites. The fact it doesn't come with any manual isn't good for starters. *Especially if the rolling speed out of the box isn't fast enough for 3D stunting like my quad.
That said CC3D FC and Librepilot configuration is easy and there are many Youtube videos showing how to do it.
(*Librepilot: "Advanced" tab, put "max rate limit" to 600 or something close)

Flying time is around 4 to 5.30 minutes on a 1500 mAh lipo, depending on how aggressive you fly it.Get a manual for the TX online (Fly Sky I6 = same) so you know about switches and (dis)arming procedure if you are new to this.
I never had a serious crash yet after about 50 lipos so I cant comment on that.

The price of this quad is about a third more then when I bought it 4 months ago, which made me rate it one point less on "Value"

P.S. ABaldrian Tropfen nicht vergessen ! Piet v. D. :-)

Flies well, but is extremely fragile. Frame breaks even on slight impacts. I have went through 3 of the same frames (which is a pain to swich) and then gave up and upgraded to a carbon frames, which last 10x better. Almost good value with 120 eur price tag if you switch out the frame right away. Otherwise keep away.

First of all out of the box I was disappointed by the plastic arms, since they are in one peace, but after a few really hard crashes it still remains in perfect shape.
Had an issue with landing gear (legs) they do not last long after a few hard lands. (mostly of them fell out and lost intact) but fortunately you can put the battery strap on top of it and land on a belly.
Also as a newbie, it took me some time to start it working (maybe an hour).
But in general after solving that I was very satisfied by this, flies amazing, very responsive. I was amazed by the design of arms, all vortexes are blown sideways so quad has a stable airbag just above the ground. Very good value for very good quality. I recommend everyone to own this, nice package it self, you can fit there more than you need (spare props, gopro cam, some more lipos, even some small tools) and take it for a fly. Very comfortable case and looks good too.

I purchased this item a couple of days ago and during my third flight, my front right motor froze causing it to crash breaking the body. Along with that, the same motor had a bad connection to the esc and i had to mess with the wiring to get the thing to work. I am very unhappy with the product.

La taille des hélices sont un peu grande pour un débutant car il est très nerveux, la taille en dessous convient mieux. Les pieds du châssis sont assez fragiles sinon bon produit

As a pure beginner I finally got my Black Widow 260.
After unboxing, charging and hooking up battery I fired up my controller.
No props attached yet for the first test and safety!
The controller started immediately beeping and gave me this warning.
!! Warning!!!
Place all switches to their off position to continue
After trying every imaginable switch combination, it suddenly stopped and the message disappeared.
Unfortunately, not any response of the 260 even with providing some gas.
So I thought maybe I have to bind it first. After binding (both sticks down to the center) I responded.
Great!!! Switching it off, putting the props on it and trying it for the first time.
It immediately flipped over and landed up-side-down.
Nothing broken fortunately.
Then I discovered I had to put the props on the right way.
The number combined with an R I placed on the back (where is the back of this thing?)
Again I powered the drone on and made another side flip.
What am I doing wrong? I tried a chat with Hobbyking but no product specialist available.
No flying for me tonight.

Fantastic flying little multirotor, and should be a blast with some FPV gear. The case is top notch, with space for around three batteries, as well as extra space for an FPV antenna. I ordered the mode 1 set as it was on sale, and very easily switched it to mode 2. There are videos out there that show how to do this, very simple.
