This little gadget will make locating your plane very easy when it goes down...too easy. It basically begins a high pitched beeping when there is no Tx link.



Good to have! All it requires is a spare TX channel.

I give it 4 Stars. I would be 5 because it is a good product, but it will NOT work on loss of signal with my Futaba 6EX 2.4 GHz radio system. I also tried activating it manually on the Flaps channel as others have suggested but that did not work either. Hobby King should advise shoppers of this in the description.

What does this thing do?
Does it shut down the throttle of your plane when the receiver loses signal?

Very cool. Must have in every plane.
Works with Futaba 2.4, set travel to more than 105%.
-On / off through switch
-Set beep on in fail safe position
-Detect low battery
Will order more.

This by far has been the best Hobby king purchase that I've made so far. I've only been flying a little over a year now, and yes have crashed a couple of times in thick woods,would never have found if not for the GWS BE-Found.I have 5 40 size planes and all planes have GWS BE-Found. (they work awsome)

It's just paid for it self 100 times over today. I lost my plane do to a Spektrum Fail safe mode crash for no good reason that I can find, Plane went into a large swamp. Found it by the beep! Wow I was so happy to ger her back.

Works on an open channel of a JR receiver. Should be used by anyone who flies in an area where there is tall vegetation or some sort of forest that can swallow a model. That is if you don't like wandering around a corn field for hours looking for your model.

GWS BE-Found just helped me to find plane in tall grass. It can be heared from 30 meters (weak) and 10 meters strong. Visibility was less than 5 meters. The main problem was ... BIRDS! They sing like the GWS BE-Found. I hunted some bird instead of plane at first.

Moreover, GWS BE-Found is usefull to check the unstable radio connection with plane in the air.

I rekommend GWS BE-Found.
