this LED's are insanely bright! I cut mine open and I saw how it made and what LED it uses. if you google them you will find them by "piranha LEDs". the fibre optic holding system is a balsa wood cube glued on top of the LED so it will only hold the tube once. you should glue the fiber-optic to the LED or it will fall of! I did not measure the consumption yet. it is different for every color. it you use to colors on the same fibre you will get other tonalities. its great! (but the LED strip is brighter... )
