These are 4mm balls, the hole in the ball fits a 1.5mm carbon rod which is supplied in the kit. The carbon rod can be glued onto ailerons or elevators as horns with the ball on the top and using the ring to connect to the push rods for a no play flexible system. I hope that makes sense!
