Snaps just by looking at it

Mar 13, 2019

Don't buy this filament. As already said by others, it snaps really easily. The pressure the extruder gear puts on it is enough. Retracting small amounts over the same length of filament multiple times? Snap. Just letting it sit in the extruder? Snap - in the middle of the air. Any force that puts the filament out of its "natural" curved form results in it breaking immediately. I didn't yet manage to print more than one or two layers of anything. Drying it at 80°C for 4 hours also did nothing, if not making it worse.

Tricky

This filament has a real touch of metal (bronze), and prints almost without problems.
My settings to print the filament is: Nozzle 195, Bed 30 (might work with the bed off).
The only thing what makes this filament hard to print is that it will snap very easily. My advice, place the spool close to the printer without sharp corners (AT ALL) or it will break immediately.

The final product really looks beautiful but it takes some time to use this type of filament.
