Bought 2 of these for flaps/slats on a Maxford Storch. Of the 2 servos, 1 was operating backwards. Had to buy a 3rd servo to finnish the model. Now all is working properly I have to say the servos operate at a nice rate, but to have to buy 3 to get 2 workers is well, shoddy. I can't say I'm filled with any great confidence for longevity and reliability from these servos, stating the obvious.... time will tell.

Very poor. Noisy, and hunts and hums at the end of its travel. There is a lot of slack int the gearing.

Also, the throw is very short. Only 48 degrees normal, 68 at max end point adjustment. For comparison, an HS 81 gives 88 normal and 120 at max EPA

I used this servo for the flaps on my Parkzone SportCub where both flaps are operated by a single servo. Works excellent, and has enough torque for both flaps. Way cheaper price then the recommended servo, plus the slow speed looks very scale. A servo wire extension is not needed when using in the sportcub.

The flaps setup on my SkySurfer requires that the servos move in opposite directions if you only want to use one channel. While you can buy a servo reverser for very little, if you are good with a soldering iron you can do it internally. There are video guides on how to do this, but usually on bigger servos.
All the internal wires are black. First swap the wires going to the motor, this is most easily done at the motor. There are three more wires which go from the circuit board down to an unseen potentiometer. Swap the outer ones but don't touch the center wire. I de-soldered the wires from the circuit board and re-soldered them in their new positions.
Re-assemble and you have a reversed servo. Mine works great.

You should probably also get a Y adapter for single channel flaps unless you want to make your own.

I bought 2 of these servos for my Bixler 2. I was happy with the slow motion that they provide. I was not happy with the fact that they hum at both ends of their travel. I know that they are drawing on the bat. when they hum. Not sure of how much current they draw however. I found the problem after I had glued them in place so I am stuck with them.
