The latest version of the popular IMAX B6AC has arrived and now boasts some unique new features. The latest V2 Model now offers PC connectivity which allows the user to control the charger via your home computer and upgrade the firmware as and when necessary.

The B6AC V2 now gives you the ability to adjust the terminal voltage, which makes the charger the perfect charging solution for heavy duty batteries.

The B6AC V2 can also be used as a Lithium battery meter / internal resistance meter and boasts additional functions which include, automatic charging current limit, capacity limit and processing time limit, making the B6AC V2 one of the safest chargers available today.

I bought this to charge some LiPo batteries originally. Not happy with how they worked, I invested in some LiFePO4 batteries recently and was pleased to see that this charger can be used with them as well. No need to buy a new charger. I find the balance charge and storage charge functions both work very reliably. It won't recover LiPo batteries that have been discharged to 0 volts though ha ha!!! Really pleased with this unit - worth spending a little more for the official version from HobbyKing.

I now have 2 of these chargers, mainly to get around the problems associated with charging more than one battery at a time. This charger has a comprehensive specification and gives me full confidence in charging my lipos. I had no hesitation in buying from Hobbyking as their service has always been excellent. The price was also the best, and I was confident that it was a genuine Imax charger and not a cheap copy.

Was delivered promptly by Hobbyking. I have since charged LIPO, Nimh and Pb batteries, including my car battery with it.
It is electronically very good and charges well and accurately.
Only down is that the selector buttons seem a little cheap and like the ones you would find on a toy.
They do their job however, I just hope they last.
Overall a very satisfactory purchase.
