    Turnigy batteries are known the world over for performance, reliability, and price. It’s no surprise to us that Turnigy LiPo packs are the go-to pack for those in the know. Turnigy batteries deliver the full rated capacity at a price everyone can afford.  

    Turnigy batteries are equipped with heavy-duty discharge leads to minimize resistance and sustain high current loads. Turnigy batteries stand up to the punishing extremes of aerobatic flight and RC vehicles. Each pack is equipped with XT60 connectors and JST-XH style balance connectors. All Turnigy LiPo battery packs are assembled using IR-matched cells.

    You won’t find a better deal on LiPo batteries anywhere!

    Before making a battery purchase, there are a few things you need to consider. What are you powering? The type of hobby vehicle you're powering will determine whether you use a soft battery pack or a Hardcase battery pack. If you’re flying an RC Plane or Multirotor Drone, you would normally use a soft LiPo pack. However, if you’re using an RC Car a Hardcase battery pack will prevent the battery from being pierced if you crash.

    It's important to know what battery capacity (mAh) you need, the cell count (S), and the optimal discharge rate (C rating). This will also be determined by the vehicle you are using the battery for.

    Low discharge but good enough

    For a custom built airplane I needed 3S lipo with a specific weight.
    The motor + prop combination is drawing 33A. Went for a 5000mAh 20C lipo, which is good for 100A. Only need 33.So far 20C is good enough for me. Thinner power cables (hate to use 10 and 12 AWG), and comes with XT60. I Wish more of these large capacity batteries came with XT60, but they all are switching to XT90 ... no thanks.
