Have you ever tried to squeeze a larger capacity battery pack into your model but do not have enough length in the battery bay to do this? Then the Turnigy "Shorty" packs are the answer. This 2200mAh 3S is only 80mm long, making it even shorter by some margin than most 1500mAh~1800mAh 3S packs. These ultra-compact, ultra-powerful packs are the next evolution in LiPo batteries. They are built with cutting-edge technology and an optimized electrolyte blend, this battery delivers unmatched energy density (208 Wh/kg per naked cell). This means increased power and duration in a smaller, lighter package.

These packs are the perfect fit for most compact RC applications, they are designed for maximum versatility. The Shorty pack is ideal for 1000mm RC planes, 1/14th scale RC cars, and small drones. So upgrade your smaller RC models with a 2200mAh battery that is previously reserved for larger builds. If your setup already uses a standard size 2200mAh 3S, then switching to the Shorty pack will save weight, provide better handling, and give extended flight times. Need more capacity or voltage? Combine two Shorty packs with a parallel or series adapter for 4400mAh at 3S (parallel) or 2200mAh at 6S (series). No other battery on the market offers this level of power density and flexibility.

Turnigy batteries are known the world over for providing performance and reliability that you can trust, and all at an affordable price. So it’s no surprise that Turnigy is leading the way yet again with the Shorty pack. Each battery is equipped with heavy-duty discharge leads to minimize resistance and sustain high current loads. They will stand up to the punishing extremes of aerobatic flight and other extreme uses. All Turnigy LiPo battery packs are assembled using IR-matched cells. You won’t find a better deal on LiPo batteries anywhere!
