    Once again we instructed our engineers to develop a motor that would not only rival but surpass the quality of the leading motors on the market today using the best quality magnets, bearings, and materials available.


    The result is an outstanding series of motors that are efficient, strong, and robust enough for the most discerning modeler.


    All of the SK3 series use quality double-shielded bearings, sintered neodymium magnets (the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available), and a string wound stator to ensure accurate and consistent winding each and every time.


    The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a top-quality brushless motor without compromise.

    Using this on my Boomerang petrol match is 46 recommended. Good power to do aeros etc had 20 flights no problems so far and not had to source a new prop mount. Using a 9 x 5 E prop with a 2200 4 cell battery, really need a larger one as only getting 8 min flight high power. Happy camper..

    New motor - Grub screw is stripped

    Brand new motor with a stripped grub screw from factory. Not happy. Now I have a useless motor that I can’t change without fear of metal shavings getting into the coil if I try and drill out the screw.
    Next time I know I should check my entire order thoroughly before I let it sit on my bench until I’m ready for the project...
