O ring failure

The O ring will fail, and blow out at 60-70 psi causing a slow leak which will drain the entire system.
I was able to replace the O ring with a flat rubber gasket, and now it can hold pressure.
May be usable for low pressure applications, but most landing gear systems require 100 psi.

This is not a good product.
When you pressurise the tube, at about 50 psi the o-ring opens and the pressure is gone.

Nice item, fits tightly onto the 3mm OD pipes sold here.

weight 1.5-2 grams

length assembled 25mm

width approx 9mm

screws together with rubber seal. Haven't air tested it but it's a solid design. Refer to files tab for reference photos.

4 stars only because it may prove difficult to assemble/disassemble due to the number of turns required.
