This device was working for a total time of 34 minutes. Then The screen showed no signal. Additionally, the TFT switches off from time to time and had display issues. The soldering was also very poor and in general the way it is assembled is very cheap. One of the worst boughs I ever made.

Disappointed with the monitor. It goes to blue screen instead of static so it has a very slow refresh rate when tried in the house compared to the Quanum diy goggles. All the antenna hook ups require the Antenna to be a SMA Plug 7.67mm, and your receiver needs to be SMA-jack 6.19 out. All my stuff was backwards so I had to spend a small fortune on SMA-PR adapters. I have not yet tried this outside, but so far, it is worthless inside. However, my Quanum monitor works well..... go figure. This system looks cool, but looks like I will need a different monitor.

Great product. screen quality is good. I use this with a 3S 5000mAh Turnigy battery. it work perfectly. Wires are easy to use. pay attention to the type of antenna for receiver (SMA / RPSMA)

Its a good beginning for a GS, you can use it as a base platform to customize it and put all that you need. It only have 1 video input with wire, would be great to have all inputs with wires and connectors

I've had this for a while now, i bought it and honestly thought it was a tiny bit overpriced, but when i received it i do not think that it is anymore.

It's well built and breathes quality. I really like it!
Easy to mount all equipment too, i would have liked a liiiitle more space for the videoreciever but i managed to get the Aomway NVR reciever in there with a little bit of pushing, but it's so tight that it's hard to remove the microSD card from the reciever/NVR. Besides that, perfect.

Good quality, screen is very easy to see and well lit. I would have appreciated some adapters or proper connectors. The connectors are unconventional. I had to grab a lot of my own connectors and cut wires and re-solder. It was a bit of a pain but more of a DIY project when everything should have already been done in kit form. Build quality is good, but my case doesn't sit flat. I suspect when everything was assembled it warped the case slightly. I think this is expected anyways. I would recommend only if you have access to proper connectors and are comfortable with soldering your own plugs/wires.

Great little box!

Bit smaller than i thought however you dont want anything to heavy and bulky to carry around when out and about flying. The screen is very good and clear. I do believe that hobbyking should swap the dc connector in the bottom for an XT-60 so you could hook up a battery straight away otherwise you forever modding this case to suite your needs. The voltage checker is handy obviously as you dont want your screen to die halfway up in the air.

I would only ever give this 4 crowns however because the lack of connections and not really having a proper power module in the case i.e a rechargeable power supply.

My fpv ground station arrived today and was well packaged. Everything was working fine until I connected a 4s battery to the system. The monitor fried instantly! I hadn't even thought about it. Very disappointing, but was totally my fault. Next I had to go hunt on eBay and find a replacement monitor from china, of course. If you buy this system do not hook up more than a 3s battery or you will toast your monitor too! Other concern is the SMA antenna extensions included, there are two and both are useless, unless you hunt as I did to find the proper adapters. They way they come configured the one mounted to the board, meant for the receiver lead is female RP SMA.. Needs to have the male pin to work with an antenna. And the reverse is the case on the other end where you would connect the receiver. So lame, so Hobby King! All in all once I have these annoyances worked out I think it will be a nice setup. Would I buy it again? Hmmm. That's a hard one to say because I like the idea of a self contained unit, but on the other hand it might have been simpler and more straight forward to just go with a seperate monitor, receiver, battery component setup instead. I've got it now, so I'll make it work. Cheers!
