    Pilot your very own C-130 with this exquisite scale aircraft. Completed with the highest level of scale detail, this Avios aircraft is the best replica on the market. With a 1600mm wingspan and measuring over a meter in length, the AVIOS C-130 features fully sequenced landing gear, working cargo door, navigation lights, and scale props.

    Beloved worldwide, the American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft is capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings. The C-130 was assigned as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft. The versatile airframe has found uses in a variety of other roles, including as a gunship (AC-130), search and rescue, scientific research support, weather reconnaissance, aerial refueling, maritime patrol, and aerial firefighting. It is now the main tactical airlifter for many military forces worldwide.

    The historic aircraft features pre-installed electronics, removable wings, and bolt-together pieces. Coming in two color schemes, the C-130 is available in the Blue Angels US Navy aerobatics scheme (Fat Albert) or Military Gray. The Blue Angels use a United States Marine Corps Lockheed C-130T Hercules, nicknamed "Fat Albert", for their logistics, carrying spare parts, equipment, and to carry support personnel between shows. "Fat Albert Airlines" flies with an all-Marine crew of three officers and five enlisted personnel.

    The Avios C-130 has a cargo door that can be operated by an aux channel on your computer radio. Fantastic for any candy drop events at the flying field. A cabin light has also been added and it can be switched on/off automatically when the door is opened or closed. 

    Avios presents the only true scale representation of the mighty C-130.

    Very happy with most of it unhappy over rudder and elevator hinging

    The overall fit and finish was very good. But. The hinges in the rudder and elevator are so sloppy that they slide around instead of deflecting. I was able to squeeze enough epoxy into the hinge hole that the tail surfaces now work okay but they look lousy. Very unhappy with this product. Also kind of unhappy because the flaps require two channels off of the receiver. This was not made clear in the description.

    Scale appearance is pretty close. Don't care for the landing gear sequencing precheck. Would have love for the cargo door section to also be a servo controlled feature along with the cargo ramp. Would have also liked to have the Aux Wing Fuel Pods to come with the Blue Angels version. Great Model!

    Assembly was fun and easy. Use a 7 chanal Fut. TX & RX. Do not uses the inner Flaps! Did my first take off with outer flaps down. inner neutral. no problems at all. flying arround without flaps, landing with flaps as before. does not need elevator when setting the flaps. Very easy flyer. The first Landing on our hard strip was fine as well. Since I fly other models with retract gear I did'nt forget to put the wheels down first. I'am happy that bought this nice model.

    A bit on the heavy side, and retracts are a week point, also the elevator with 2 servos on a Y cable and not same zero point on servoarm, so it's tricky to align the elevator both in up, center and down. And the servos could absolutly be a better quality but the work for now.
    I havn't had it in the air without windy conditions,
    All in all it's a flies and handle OK for a Semi scale model just watch the CG.

    Nice Looking Plane Servos Could Be Better

    Bought mine in April and finally was able to fly it in July but one flap servo failed on first flight and the other main flap servo over heated. Bought new servos and had to rewire the internals so that it would work in the correct direction. The plane is very sensitive with the CG. I used a 3600mAh battery and had it balanced but it flew really bad and almost lost it on the first flight.
