Nice Warbird, Accurate Description, but spare parts are lacking

I bought this Spitfire over the Motion RC versions because Motion has repeatedly lied about RTF weights. This Spitfire has accurately described specs, flies GREAT, altho it needed a little fixing because of assembly issues right out of the box, AND no spare prop blades are available which is a definite minus. Also, you have to download the instructions as there is no hard copy included with the kit

Absolutely great kit but don't crash it. Been waiting 8 months for replacement prop and a pilot from Global. The prop is such a basic spare. This is the Hobby King greatest weakness. Spares

Very happy with the model itself, but some areas weren’t covered with paint properly requiring some touching up. Instructions could have been better but I managed ok.

Great scale details on aircraft! I love that a lot of the control surface connections are either hidden or minimised this all adds to the scale appearance, relatively easy to put together also. The kit I received suffered only very minor damage during shipping will be fairly easy to repair I’m surprised the plane hadn’t suffered more damage really as had to be shipped a long way. Also was only missing a ball link ball for the aileron but other than that everything was in kit. Size of decals and placement instruction are not quite as accurate as I’d hoped compared to full size aircraft markings, but quality of vinyl decals is excellent. All in all a great addition to have in the collection, am yet to do a maiden flight but I’m sure if it’s like any other spitfire even the full size aircraft it will fly like it looks “like a thoroughbred”. Would recommend getting one if you don’t already have one in case they do ever stop making them.. Would also like to see more spare parts readily available too, prop blades etc...
