Two things I never thought I’d be saying together in the same sentence: RC world and high fashion.
Yet these two worlds just collided last night at Milan Fashion Week. Luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana sent seven or so drones flying down the runway carrying handbags, as shown in the video below. It was reported that the brand asked all audience members to switch off their Wi-Fi on their mobile devices to ensure that this would be possible.

While this world-first is quite interesting it’s not at all surprising, as the past couple of years drones have always been considered popular or you could even say drones are considered ‘fashionable’. D&G took that quite literally by bringing drone technology into fashion week. Who knows if this will be something that the fashion industry will see more?
