Over the weekend at the New York Toy Fair, Mattel announced a large range of new Jurassic World merchandise to coincide with the release of the upcoming film later this year.
Among their new merch, was the ‘Pterano-Drone’, a standard quadcopter with a dinosaur on top. The model is surprisingly very lifelike with realistic movement. Their wings move in motion with the movement of the drone. It works like any other regular drone with a hand-held remote control. Like most Mattel products, you can expect these drones to be kid-friendly with additional features such as self-landing. For extra safety, the Pterano-drone will also include a patented plastic case that automatically switches off if anyone tries to grab the motors or rotor blades.
