Last weekend, HobbyKing was in attendance at AMA West Expo in Pomona California.
The three-day HobbyKing sponsored event is one of the largest indoor and outdoor RC models and hobby events on the West Coast and thousands of RC hobbyists attend from all over the country.
One of the areas that we sponsored was the outdoor rhythm racetrack, in which customers were able to test a range of popular HobbyKing products on the track. Additionally, patrons at the event were able to participate in time trials. All trials were recorded, and the top five fastest times were posted on the board. Another area which HobbyKing sponsored was a well-stocked charging station, that had everything pilots would need, at the RC plane Flight line. This charging station significantly helped pilots at the event, because it allowed them to charge their spare batteries while they were flying.
In addition to our sponsored zones, HobbyKing set up a large indoor product display area in the main exposition center. Some of the products on display included our highly anticipated Avios C-130, the ever-popular Skysword, and many more planes, batteries, and cars. Attendees were given the opportunity to view and touch all products on display. It was clear from the feedback we received from patrons that they were very enthusiastic about our upcoming releases and our product offering.
