Why use standard clevis?

Nov 14, 2007

Great value for money ball bearing clevis.

Easy to install.

Have been using these on a 2m model and there is very little slop after many flights.

smart BB clevis

The design is quite unique - includes tiny ball bearing inside, so the whole device works almost frictionless. Also at high angles (big deflection).

Also there is virtually no slope between clevis and arm.

Tiny screw goes tight into plastic socket so I found no neet to use any threadlocker.
