The Dancing Wings Hobby Hindenburg is a 1:408 scale static display model of the ill-fated airship. The LZ-129 Hindenburg was a commercial passenger-carrying rigid airship that was the largest airship of its class. It was designed and built by the Zeppelin Company and was operated by the German Zeppelin Airline Company. It was named after Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg and was unfortunately destroyed whilst attempting to dock to its mooring mast at the Naval Air Station Lakehurst in the United States.
The Dancing Wings Hobby LZ-129 Hindenburg is supplied in kit form and is simple to construct from laser-cut balsa parts. The attention to detail is meticulous and the model is also supplied with a laser engraved display stand.
