Unit is very heave, need 2200mah battery (3s) to get good CG (CG in instruction is wrong look out on this) When Im using 12A engine model almoust not flying... you need better engine - 18-25A (max trottle). Model is made with good components, looks good.
Do not forget about low profile serwos in wings! there is no room for standard 9g serwos!
Weight: 700G without motor ESC and battery - heave one.

Lightweight fibreglass fuselage, probably too light in the tail boom with excessive flex and twist. Crushed glasswork below the canopy suggests it was pulled from the mould with insufficient release agent. A fair amount of trimming was required to fit the wings to fuselage. Supplied wing bolt heads don't fit as the blind nuts in the fuse are too close together. The push rods to the 'V' tail required redirecting to overcome chronic binding. Covering needs plenty of attention with the iron to correctly seal the leading and trailing edges. You will need Dymond D60 9mm thick micro servos to fit the aileron cut outs in the wings. I've used XGD-9 servos, moved forward 5mm and built up the fuse servo tray 2mm so they would fit. I used Gold-N-Clevis with soldered couplings on all wire control rods with the 'Z' bends at the horn ends. I've installed an Electrifly Ammo 28 dia. x 45mm, 3600kv brushless in runner with a 4.3:1 planetary gearbox from Tower Hobbies. Aero naught precision 32mm dia. folding prop spinner with Hobby King 12"x 6" carbon folding prop, 1800mAh 3S 25C LiPo gets the C of G close to spot on. Weight comes in at 1.3 kg. If your prepared to do a lot of prep work to get everything to correctly fit and function, you will have a thermal floater that with care, will be a joy to fly. Just don't be in a rush to finish this bird.

When you by a Hobby King plane just know the instructions will be non-existent and you will have to do some mods. I love this plane that said it is a quirky build. I used Spectrum metal gear low profile servos in the wings and installed with servo tape. You also need to put another layer of monokote or some stickers on the other side or I fear the monkote will tear through the wing over time. I also had to notch the back of the wings go to get it to sit properly where the wing screws are. I found that 33P-SolarServoA107 (metal gear) fit perfectly inside for the v-tail with no mods. There is no support for the v-tail so strip the monokote sand the wood and the fiberglass (to key it) then glue it with epoxy. Also you need to glue in the wing pins that hold in the front of the wings. (After my first flight the wings fell off on landing.) I glued them and have flown it several times since then, with no issues. Finding a motor that fits and that supplies enough power is difficult. Value Hobby makes a G force motor; the 450 model with a 10X6 or 11X6 prop is perfect for me. All the in runners I found the props are just too small for this plane.
Over all this is a beautiful plane as a powered glider, thermal soarer, or slope soaring. (Although I have not tried it for slope) It is by no means a hot liner. Could it be?? With enough time, talent, and money a barn door could! Would I b

Looks great, i'm sure of amazing fly.
But, on mine:
sleeves ore too short, end 15 cm before the wing. Unusable
little plywood for servos is inclined 30 degrees. Unusable.
four hornes with two oles each... find totally four screw.
Really not problems but same unexpected work.
Willl try a Turnigy 2217 860 kv with 11X6 propeller

The item came very well packed and was ordered in the European Warehouse and deliverd in 3 days. Unfortunatly some screws were missing and the Instruktion Manual is worth crap. It States that the CG is 670mm from the nose....

For the wings you need small servos around 9-10 mm thick. My Motor is a Diamond 2856 with a 40 AMP and a 9,5x6 prop. Make sure your spinner is 32mm (it states that you need a 30mmb but that's too small). Building was very easy and I was done in about 4 hours. The total weight of my Deamon is 1140 gramms with lipo.

Flying the Deamon is so much fun. With my setup it almost puls straight up using a 3 S Lipo 2200 mah. The sky is the limit ;-)

This is a cheap glider, quality is average, the wing has negative camber but clothing can 't follow the profile of the bottom, sanding before clothing is also poor.

I hope the gluing in the wings is ok

I write again when it has flown.

the model is great in flight, some considerations, tail "V" without the slightest indication of construction, built my removable for easy transportation is not necessary to have command of rudder, aileron servo hitec 55 and is still very large, command ascent and descent 8 mm 5 mm of ailerons, motor Turnigy 2836 1500 w propeller 10x6 2200 3s battery is sufficient, the CG 68mm from the leading edge, not recommend for beginners because the construction requires more advanced knowledge
