I bought this for the 70mm Dr mad thrust unit but doesnt fit!!! fan blades rub on shroud. WASTE of money!!! At $42 it should fit perfect!! Shame on you HK!

The fan itself is great. Balance is good and it is nicely machined.
You have to grind down a normal 8mm adapter to ~7.9mm to make it fit. You also need to male a spacer of some sort as the hub is slightly different compared to normal Dr. Madthrust fans. I used a 9x0.5 aluminium tube and it works great.

Amp draw on 6s, 2600kv madthrust inrunner is 86A.

Hello I bought two of these Rotors and they wont fit the alloy housing Hobbyking sell and they dont fit a Wemo shroud either can anyone tell me what shroud they will fit in?

I'm running this with a Turnigy L2855-2800 motor. Had to make a custom adapter for the rotor. Its produces about 690W at about 49amps using a 4cell 4000mAh 45C. Sounds great, well balanced and very quiet at full throttle.
The blades are very sharp and very strong. Would not fit in a metal Dr mad thrust shroud that I had, but fit into a plastic one. Overall happy with the performance so far. Need to test it in a more high power system.

I put this on the dr mad 2600kv motor with s 6s lipo and it is a monster, really well balanced, I didn't have to do anything with the 2 I got, they run really smooth.
