This is a plane I WOULD like to review as it has been discontinued. I was saving up and a few days before I could order (back-order) it was gone. Please bring it back.

Just got this aircraft and new absolutely nothing about it. I put it in the air today and man was this thing beautiful. Flys like a real plane. Take off was smooth a very realistic. At high altitude I tried the flaps for the first time. The plane actually just hung there in the sky. You definately cannot "float" a landing by simply cutting power while the flaps are down. These things will literally stop you in mid-air. I'm currently trying to get parts as I also crashed due to a radio malfunction. It went into a 80 Deg. dive into the ground and only trashed the front end. Man this thing is tough! Thinking of buying another for my son at Xmas. You cannot go wrong with this plane as it does everything you need.

A nice, highly detailed plane. Looks beautiful and realistic in the air. Landing with flaps is a pleasure.
Few problems
- Its not a plugnfly - takes more time to get it ready
- You need a flap servo reserver
- Front wheel cowl is very delicate
- Little tail heavy - have to add 30 grams in front
- Poor rudder pushrod mount - the rudder flaunts on higher speeds
Still its a very good plane for its price and I can recomend it.
Added servos direction/speed regulator, lights and rudder gyro in mine.

Beautifull airplane. Great quality. flies very well even in heavy wind conditions. handles very nicely, gives up a near by scale flight.
the stock serve, could be better, I replace mine with htx900 because one of the ailerons servo got blocked. line up the surfaces and no trim required. front weel frequently falls out of place, Lots os adjustments to join wings, flap needed a reversed y connector or radio mixture.that coul be improved. One side A5 manual, have to guess what do to. Flies close to 15 nin on a 3.3A Lipo at less than 50pcnt throtle gives smooth fligth.
Some sugestions to hobbyking:
Replace stock servos to htx900, put a better piano wire on front weel with a better weel, put a reverse y connector on flaps and for all that raise the price $10 and you will have a 5*** airplane.

Good looking plane. Had to bad servos right from the start.Don't send into Hobby King you will never get warranty service.Replace servos and ESC .I have a A380 and since 4/1/2011 had two bad ESC and motor asy. Now they have lost one esc and motor asy. If you want warranty you won't get nothing from Hobby King only emails and wasted time .Sorry for bad review but two orders from them and both bad and no warranty at ALL.

What a awesome plane, 5 stars HK, even with the few faults that are very easy to fix, You cant complain about this model for the price.

I re soldered servo to switch direction, keeps the plane looking better than having to cut away parts of it. Found all the servos to be crap so replaced all with HXT900. ($15) no biggy, I have left wheel covers off to aid in better grass landings, and used the wheel stickers and put on nose, Looks way cool :)

Glad i got the last one from AUS warehouse :) Thanks HK :)

Flap servos burned out almost immediately. Not a true 35 series but has enough power, gets off the ground fairly quick. Nice flight characteristics, really don't need the flaps but can be fun to play with. Half flaps seems the best when you do replace the servos. All the servos are noisy as hell. Directions suck but if you have built an ARF before you'll figure it out. Not a bad plane for the price. pick up a couple cheap hobby king mg939s or something similar, you may have servo issues as well. This plane is worth the money but expect to make some mods or repairs. Loose the pants for the front wheel. Terrible design. Buy a collar with a set screw to keep the front wheel on. I plan on having to replace the other 4 servos as well. Hope this helps.
