    Product Description

    PLA:
    PLA has a lower melting point and prints easier than other materials. One of the most important features is that PLA is non-toxic, and even has a sweet smell when printing. PLA has a low shrinkage rate and it is very rigid with minimal flex. This material can print extremely high resolution models and is perfect for a wide range of uses. PLA is considered stronger than ABS but is more susceptible to cracking when flexing, impact or torsional loads so the mechanical needs of the print project has to be evaluated.

    PLA has a huge range of vibrant colors and opacity for that perfect look whether it is artistic or utilitarian, in short a great material for 3D printing. PLA can be printed without the use of a heat bead, and can stick to glass or a PCB plate with a binder such as hairspray or white glue for a curl free print.

    Prints well and cheap too

    probably not the best filament out there, but it works for me and it's great value for money, especially if you're just starting out with 3D printing.
    I have a very cheap basic printer and this filament just works.
    Considering the price I would recommend anyone to try it and see what you think.

    I'm happy with this filament and just placed a new order.
    + Diameter is very close to 1,75 and very consistent
    + No tangles in the spool
    + reasonably easy to print with
    + looks like a black filament should
    + Well packaged
    - layer adhesion was not that great, and found no way to improve on this. Not even with temperatures of 220.
    The layer adhesion is a big downside, but the rest of the performance is very good. At this price level i can highly recommend it.

    Filament is cheap compared to many other brands. Comes in a nice box and is vacuum sealed with desiccant inside. Nice to print with and sticks well. Would definitely buy again.

    The prints looks fantastic!
    Unfortunately, and I used several spools myself and talked to several friends using this esun filament as well: It just breaks in between the spool and the extruder when you just leave it at room temperature for a day or two! More days and it breaks at multiple locations! This is unacceptable since I have to throw away about 40cm every single time I want to print and I have the work of putting it into the extruder every day! esun doesn't really comment on this problem! They suggest a usable temperature range of 25 degrees -5 degrees! Who has that in their room? Below 20 degrees and it breaks for sure! NOT RECOMMENDED!
