Fatshark battery case

Apr 24, 2022

I've heard some of these aren't of good quality, but this one is in great condition. Looks good, fits snug in place and it has the balance charger, which my previous one did not. Overall, very happy with my purchase!

Defective goods

Jan 07, 2022

The product arrived defective. The cover mounting axis is missing. When the battery compartment is opened, the lid falls off.

Battery size

Aug 03, 2020

I am new to FPV so this may be my bad for not knowing... I have two sets of 18650 and one fits perfectly, but the 2nd is really tight so the lid has a little problem to stay clicked in. Apparently, there are two types of 18650 - w and w/o overheat circuit?that makes the 1-1.5mm difference... Other than that, just perfect!!!

good and high quality product

This is a great battery pack for my googles, the only thing i wish they had done was route the center tab from the 2s battery pack to the plug. if they had done that i could have changed it with out having to remove the 18650 batteries. I happen to have a few 18650 chargers, but not everyone does, and that single extra wire from the center tab would mean people dont need to buy a separate charger. It says "dont charge while in this battery case" and i understand why, charging with no balance leads is crazy. But that would not be the case if they had put in the extra wire.

Heavy but more lasting than stock batteries

2 x 18650 batteries is the only choice for FPV goggles. However this casing spoils easily and does not last.

Not bad for a second back up pack at all shame it's not a balancer though. The 18650 batteries have to be charged from a dedicated charger and not through the unit itself but there are videos on how to convert to this although recommended by the manufacturer not to use this unit to charge the batteries in. If it was chargable and balanced it would be a deal breaker for me for sure but if you have non protected 18650 batteries and charger lying around. Then you won't be disappointed.
