Bought 2 of these both works great. Works as advertised but the manual and any information on the internet does not mention that the led indicating that power is on flickers. The flickering is supposed to be present and tells you that the PPM pulse is connected to the module propperly. So, normal operation = orange flickering, range test = green flickering and Binding = red flickering. Great product got my JR X-347 into the future and can be used for many years to come.

I updated a 1990 Ace Nautical Commander boat radio with this module. I am amazed that I was able to convert this old radio to modern 2.4Ghz for under $15 USD.
It was unbelievably simple to do. If anyone is feeling hesitant about 'doing it yourself', don't. It's truly a quick and easy process.
Well, it's in and the radio works perfectly with it. I am using the FrSky 7-channel receiver. Everything bound up nicely just like the instruction sheet said it would.
See the files section for a photo of my customized Nautical Commander.

Continuation:

After use the plug must be pulled out to switch off the transmitter and the power for the DIY must be switched off.with the slide switch.

The order of the channels is not such as in FrSky system (1 = aileron, 2 = elevator , 3 = throttle , 4 = rudder), but as in range ( 1 = throttle,, 2 = aileron , 3 = elevator, 4 = rudder ).

If the plug of the module is plugged off, the transmitter works normally with Spektrum receivers.

Thats all, is simple to build, costs about 25 $ and works just fine.
