HobbyKing 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm ABS 1KG Spool (Glow in the Dark - Green)
HobbyKing have come out with a huge new range of 3D Printer Filaments at prices that will have you printing all day and all night.
The range covers PLA, ABS, Flexible, Color Changing, Luminous, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Acetal (POM), Metal Composite and even a water soluble filament for printing molds. So there is a filament for every project you have in mind. HobbyKing filaments have a stable melting point, good round shape and most importantly a 0.05mm uniform diameter tolerance for a consistent flow rate.
ABS is a fantastic plastic for mechanical real world use prints where a durable item is required. It has some give under stress making it perfect for multirotor frames and gears. ABS also has a higher melting point making it more suitable for some applications.
For printing with ABS it is recommended to have a heated print bed or Kapton Tape for proper bed adhesion. ABS can also have a slight odor when printing so a well ventilated room is recommended, please note that it has no odor when the print is finished.
ABS is slightly harder to get dialed in unlike PLA, but once set up the printing is consistent and the prints are truly real world useable. Other popular uses for this material are R/C spare parts, building blocks and toys for the kids.
3D printing is a fun and exciting hobby with a wide range of uses from prototyping parts to making toys for the kids. Picking the right filament for your application is very important.

I really like this stuff, it has a really nice off white colour. I prefer ti to the pure whites you can get.
I was expecting some low quality glowing but it is impressive and glows for a good while and can be charged with most light sources. This is some of the best glow in the dark filament I have seen. It glows much more brightly and for longer than some I have which cost nearly three times as much. The filament prints smoothly, is of good consistent size, and so far I have no complaints at all. Especially as I bought it on sale at a silly price! I'm somewhat wishing I'd picked more up at the time, but 1kg goes a very long way.
