The Hawker Hunter was the UKs first swept wing fighter and was a huge success being operated by many airforces accross the world. Designed by the brilliant Sir Sydney Camm, the Hunter was certainly one of the best looking jets of its age and went on to break several records including the world speed record in 1953, another amazing record was set when 22 Hunters were looped in formation! The Hunter was still being used as a trainer right into the 1990s and has gone down in History as one of the most successful and best looking cold war era fighters.

This very scale and superbly finished model is Plug N Fly, and includes all servos pre-fitted and all-metal/sprung retracts pre-fitted. The pre-fitted alloy fan unit is ultra high quality, very powerful, ultra smooth, reliable and efficient, on the reccomended Lipoly this unit produces around 1700g of thrust. An OPTO ESC is also pre-fitted with a 5A UBEC to supply RX power. Although not difficult to build, the Hunter is a little more involved than some PNF models. The design is clever, with each section being completed as a "module".

The silky smooth sound of the pre-installed Fan Unit on 6s has to be heard to be believed. This model flies like it is on rails, and combines speed with stability and elegance it is also a breeze to land thanks to the pre-installed split flaps. This Hunter combines quality & performance with head turning good looks and is sure to make you stand out at the flying field.

Pros: This is a typical Rc Lander plane. Lots of pieces and lots of steps with epoxy. Quality is excellent and all the parts fit together well. The paint is done well and and look really good. The cheater hole is covered with a solid piece of plastic and there is plenty of power.
Cons:I really wish this was a 4s system. The battery bay is really small and I'm having a hard time imagining a 6s pack in there, So plan on 2 3s packs. Lander, obviously thinks this is the way to go too as there is a series plug included (BTW everything is Deans T connectors, which is what I use). So, don't expect long flight times. THE BIGGEST disappointment is the manual retracts. They work fine (and are pre-setup) but I have to think Rc Lander has a ton of left over manual retracts to off load instead of including their nice electronic retracts. Fortunately, they seem tough and I had a set on my Lander F-16 and Panther and they held up fine.

If you've ever owned a Lander plane, no surprises here. If not, this is a lot more work than other EDFs on the market but in the end you get a very high quality plane.

Fantastic jet, brought direct from a UK model shop. Flying weight stated as 1500g but mine came at 2300g with all the hardware included with the kit. Running mine on a 3200mah 35c 6s lipo and getting 850w. Good fast flight but not much vertical performance. Tends to tip stall and due to the high wing loading it comes in like a brick. Flys like it is on rails. I took all the undercarriage out and flaps and rudder to reduce weight and measured at 105 mph level flight. Fantastic jet well worth the money, but the elevator linkage needs sorting as the metal rod bends and deforms under pressure. Great aircraft and at a fantastic price, mine cosst 400 to get up so a real steal at this price!! :)
