i have fond this model to be perfect i have been flying it in fairly high wings that it handles real well just use expediential of about 40% and it can be very forgiving this is my favorite glider would love to see one in about 2.5 meter i have had it up over 300 feet and it is great

Nice and very well done RC plane

The Ezio motor glider is a very well done airplain. Everything is excellent. Only a big bug to be solved. I broke it in the first flight and I asked for spare parts (some wooden parts) and I got the answer that spare parts are not available. I then asked for drawings of the airplain to make the needed parts: also here the answer was: not available. Then the aftersale of this nice plane has to be much improved.

For its price, it's a nice glider. It's very fast and twitchy, so I would not recommend for beginners.
Once you get the motor break on, it floats quite nice, and catches thermals pretty good
It's extremely hard to see high up due to its size, so it's easy to lose sight of it if you catch a thermal and ascent too much - be aware :)
3S 1300mAh is a tad heavy. It works, but I'd consider an 1000mAh battery instead. If you're in it for catching thermals and not use the motor too much, you get plenty of airtime regardless

It is my second e-fly. The wing broke during flight ( a bit gusty). Analysing the rupture I can resume, that the build quality is low.

EZIO glider experience

I have to H-King EZIO airplanes (one spare) in any case. This summer I performed a view nice flights in several locations. The model flies nice. Not a hight performance flyer but a good and sheep flyer. Today surprisingly the wing disassembled in flight and total loss of the model. I seems to me, that the design and/ or the manufacturing of the wing rood section is weak.

Nette Vogel mit abstrichen...
Ist schon mein zweiter E-Fly. Der erste E-Fly hatte 1 - 2mm Verzug im Rumpf und der Zusammenschluss der beiden Flächen passte auch nicht optimal. Der Verzug ließ sich durch ein eingeklebtes Balsabrettchen unter dem Höhenruder links unten ausgleichen.
Nach dem die englische Bauanleitung auf diieses mögliche Problem hinweist, Bitte unbedingt zu beachten. Das Modell sollte unbedingt vor den Aufkleben der Deko komplett nachgebügelt werden.
Der empfohlene 1300mA Akku ist zu schwer. Ich habe 1000mA 3S benutzt und der passt super. Damit sind Thermikflüge von bis zu 30 Minuten locker möglich .
Der erste E-fly stürzte in einer Luftwalze sehr unsanft ab. Weil durch das geringe Gewicht von unter 1 kg muss man viel korrigieren und wegen mangelnde Erfahrung mit Windböhen kam es zum Absturz.
Der zweite E-fly war etwas besser verarbeitet an, aber wie gesagt für Anfänger nur bei wenig Wind oder nur mit Stabilisierung zu empfehlen. Der Preis von 100-130 ist für das vorbereitete Modell ist in Ordnung .
