The Dual Storm is the latest addition to our ultralite indoor 3D F3P model range.

Constructed from a unique combination of foam board, light weight film and carbon reinforcement. The result is an extremely light airframe that is stiffer than most 'full foam' indoor aerobats. We aren't kidding - The assembled bare airframe tips the scales at a tiny 55 grams and it is rigid!

The Dual Storm is an F3P machine that means business, it has precise flight characteristics, is free of fuselage twisting in flight and uber light in weight!

This kit includes a 1700kv brushless outrunner and GWS style 8 x 4 propeller, along with 2 different types of airbrakes for the hardcore guys.

Specs:
Wingspan: 850mm
Fuselage Length: 830mm
Motor: Brushless 2204 1700Kv Outrunner (Included)

I absolutely love this airplane!! It is an amazing airframe. It can fly hardcore 3d or f3p at walking speed like its on rails. It fly's inverted with NO INPUT and knife edge flight is done with no coupling. It will do flat turns with no aileron input. I have the cg about 1/4" farther back then the recommended cg. I used the included (2202) motor, a Hobbyking blue series 12amp esc with the shrink wrap cut off and the motor wires directly soldered to the esc. My motor leads are about 1" long (this helps prevent timing issues as well as cuts a little bit of weight off) i used Hitec 5035 digital nano servos and a Spektrum AR6100 with the case cut off for a receiver. I am using a 2 cell 180mah 25-40c nano tech pack. I painstakingly built the airframe absolutely square (took about 3 hrs on just the airframe) and used the foam safe CA very lightly as i did not want to add too much weight from the CA. It dose not come with air-brakes, and the cabbain struts are not covered so I Mylared them to add the side force area. also the included servos arms are too short to be used as pull pull arms so I just used a set of Du-bro micro arms to get the appropriate length for a pull pull system. My true flying weight is 111 grams! this airframe makes me want to try the MXS-R or the Saturn f3p airframes. I urge caution when building or transporting the airframe as it is extremely delicate.

Plane has arrived and It assembled. I got a chance to fly it outside in a bit of a breeze It flew well But doesn't like wind at all. Hovers and 3d flying is so easy it made me look like a instant expert. using a 10 amp esc and a 300 mah 2s pack. I assembled it with 5 minute epoxy I hate foam CA. It is under 140 grams flying weight. ridged???. Well I guess its a mater of what ridged means to you. Control surface flex easy and leading edge f wings flex if you breath on it to hard BUT it doesn't seem to effect its flight. Its very VERY delicate I doubt that it will last me long BUT I ill try to make it last It is very VERY nice little plane. I might try to make a protective box for it so it an last forever. That would make a big difference. for price and quality id say 5 an 5 toughness a zero But that's not in the rating choices If you want to fly easy champion like 3d inside or in no wind days buy this planes its excellent.
