This MXS is one of the ultimate indoor 3D F3P models available!

Constructed from a unique combination of foam board, light weight film and carbon reinforcement. The result is an extremely light airframe that is stiffer than most 'full foam' indoor aerobats. We aren't kidding - The assembled bare airframe tips the scales at a tiny 51 grams and it's crazy rigid!

The MXS is a F3P machine that means business, it has precise flight characteristics, is free of fuselage twisting in flight and uber light in weight!

This kit includes a 1700kv brushless outrunner and GWS style 8 x 4 propeller, along with 2 different types of airbrakes for the hardcore guys.

Specs:
Wingspan: 922mm
Fuselage Length: 858mm
Motor: Brushless 2204 1700Kv Outrunner (Included)
Propeller: 8x4 (Included)
Flying Weight: 115-140g (Flight ready inc. Battery)

Requires:
ESC: 10-12Amp
Servos: 6-8g micro servo x 3
Radio: 4 channel

Great little foam shockie. I recommend using 8 or 9 g servos especially for aileron. all in all a very good flyer. light and slow, with enough punch to climb out of anything. built mine with the red turnigy 3020 1800kv and 12 amp plush esc. I use the nano tech 350 mah 65c 2 cell. this little plane came out great. flys better than my electrifly extra 330sc which is a comparable depron model by great planes. only minuses are the film is sorta wrinkly, you cant do anything about it. just gotta live with it. but after 10 or 15 flights, the film started peeling away at the wingtips. I used some foam safe thin ca and reattached the film no prob. you may want to add some packing tape or a little carbon fiber stick to the tail dragging nub. gets crushed over fairly easily. 4 crowns!

Ich bin super zufrieden mit dem Flieger. Mit Lipo 350mah und 4,4g Servos plus 10A Regler habe ich ein Abfluggewicht von 140gr.! Super Kit. Alles perfekt zusammengestellt. CFK Rohre schon alle vorgeschnitten. Minimaler Zeitaufwand fr den Zusammenbau. Sehr gute bebilderte Anleitung. Passgenau! Fliegt super..Wrde ich sofort wieder kaufen...

I used Uhu Por for all the Depron and Carbon Fiber to Depron joints and epoxy for the Carbon Fiber to Carbon Fiber joints. I just dont think CA is the best option for this build. I would reinforce the joint where the wheel strut terminates at the fuselage with a small patch of depron or whatever is handy as mine both came out on a grass landing... not that its designed for grass landings, I just had a chance to maiden outdoors. I get really tight flat turns with the thrust vectoring. I think I have a better way to tension the pull pull strings too, as that is a pain, will test it and let you know. Will post a video soon.

Very nice, built it light and it just floats. Lots of carbon fiber bits. Motor is a bit overkill, I used a TURNIGY 2204-14T lightened to 16g, YEP 7A ESC (no BEC or wires, 0.7g), Dymond 47 servos (4.7g, 8.4v), Del Tang DT Rx37 reciever (3-10v, 0.31g) and a single axis thrust vector mount strung up to the rudder servo. All soldered connections except battery. 100.0g without battery. 135ma used for 5 minutes flying on a 300mah. It is pull pull on rudder and ele, put a pinned hinge in where the horns are, tape is no good there, string tension will just pull it in. Flat pliers just will not crimp the tubes for the string terminations properly, the right tool is called a beading crimping plier.

The instructions are great.step by step color booklet with many pictures. This is the first indoor plane I put together that had all the carbon fiber per cut and numbered,And they fit,I didn't have to cut one piece of carbon fiber.,they all fit perfect. The plane went together very nicely in one evening. The pull pull rudder and elevator work great and are easy to set up.Hint, use CA on the pull pull string to set your length before you crimp the keepers. This makes it a lot easier.I used hitec hs55 feather weight servos for some added torque be use I wanted the air brakes on the slow in down. You will have to open the servo slots an 1/4 inch to use these servos but well worth the mod.

setup
servo rollen: tgy1550, 5,5 gr
servo hoogte en richting: tgy1440, 4,4 gr
regelaar tgy plush 6amp, 6gr
motor 2204 1400kv 19gr (bij de set zit een 22gr 2204 1700kv)
hobbyking 6ch rx, zonder behuizing 5gr
accu 300mah nanotech 17 gr

vliegen zal hij zeker goed doen, pure 3d vlieger!

Received kit in well package box. No damage from delivery. Opened box and saw all depron coverings were very slack and bubbly. Do not try and tighten covering, it will only warp your airplane sections or flight controls, leave it slack. Construction was pretty straight forward. Very good carbon fiber and no issues installing Turnigy 1800 servos (bought the 3 pack). Used an HK 10 amp ESC and 370 Nanotech battery, total weight after construction and with battery was just shy of 135g, so very light. One caution though, don't be fooled as to the covering making the depron any stronger. Acft is very light, therefore is also fairly fragile, I already cracked a corner on the elevator. Easy repair, though. Run up with provided engine and 8x4 prop proved very good. No bad issues with the engine, engine sounded fine, no abnormal sounds, plenty of thrust. Did not connect to watt meter, no need plane want to hover at half throttle. Will add to review once plane flown is next weekend. Overall the covering was disappointing on fuselage (only one side) and the slackness of the covering and the brittleness of the depron, but if you want a very slow flying and very aerobatic plane I'd buy it again.
