after 2 years:

This motor is still running strong. I ran it a long time on 4s in a 1/10 2wd sct, and it worked very well, actually too powerfull on 4s. I even ran a short time on 6s (not recommended as the motor is only rated at 4s) the sct is now setup for track running on 2s at 1:9,0 gearing, and it works very well. It is not as powerfull as 4pole motors, but it is smooth, and suits rwd sct trucks well at ~30mph. For higher speeds you should go for the 10,5T. This motor is cheap, reliable and has good power. Honestly, i am impressed, thought it would break down by now. Definetly recommended for use in 1/10 light offroad vehicles (rwd) and onroad.

Nice looking motor made with average quality materials and assembly.

Considering the power of the motor it depends a lot on weight of the vehicle, surface that you run on it, the tires and the way of the driving. I am preparing the table with comparison of characteristic from 13,5T to 6,5T. I will publish as soon as it will be finished.

This motor is like as it is prescripted. I even measured much higher current draw.

Sensor plate went off after few drives, so now I can use it only like sensor less motor.

Recieved this motor mising 2 screws leaving the entire sensor plate loose. After fixing it the motor worked just perfectly.

Used it in a 2wd 1/10 SC truck on 4s lipo. Loads of power and very smooth. Amp draw was below 50 and temperatures never exceeded 60 degrees celcius with modest to hard driving. Very good motor on 4s lipo

I installed this motor in my Axial Honcho and all i can say is it hauls ass :p I'm running this motor off of a mamba max pro and bought a novak sensor wire to replace the one that never came in the box. I have a 17t pinion on it and using a 3 cell lipo, I have a hard time controlling the truck with anything more then 1/4 throttle witch is way to fast for anything crawling related. So far after about an hour of abuse this motor has nuked a metal spur gear and broken an axle with barely any effort while staying cool to the touch, I will defiantly be buying another for my other project and recommending it to friends.
