Not Waterproof!

Hi, nice, strong ESC, but: Stay away from the fog!!!
Ran the ESC today the first time on a wet skate park in my brushless hotfire.
Setup 2S 5000mAh
After 5 Minutes heavy shaking of the motor, no reaction to throttle! (Steering works fine)
Visual inspected transparent ESC housing - very wet inside. Blown with warm air until housing shows no foggy condition any more, ESC works fine again.
There is no visible seal, barrier or coating, that could support a water resistance.
Consequently- keep it dry by yourself!

Nice product, but: NOT WATERPROOF!
Ran it the first time today in my Brushless Hotfire on a skate park. Wheather little foggy, road realy wet. After ~5 minutes car motor starts heavy shaking, and does not react on throttle commands (steering servo works fine at this time). Changed battery, no improvement.
Visual inspection shows foggy housing with droplets of water inside.
Blow dry with pressurized air, cured ESC with warm air,
When housing was clear without moisture, ESC works fine again.
I do not see any barrier, seal or coating that could explain a waterproof condition- Consequently - keep it dry by yourself!

not what I expected I wish it was programmable takes off in reverse when first turned on don't no what thats all about and the drag brake is a bit much

Great esc for my 1/16 revo

All in all a great esc replacement for my original traxxas esc. However, it seems to be a shorter throttle resolution compared to the original.
I’d recommend this esc if you’re on a budget.
