The brakes are made by UMS Technologies India (see their web page), the best option is to order matching wheels or aluminum hubs from them.

(see UMS part no. L 00 Y 0801, aluminum hubs). Other wheels/hubs eg. Robart won't work as far as I can tell?

The UMS alu hubs are around 13 euros each, and seem well made, but I don't have a set yet.

I think it is silly for HK to stock the brakes but not a set of matching wheels ??

These are hydraulic brakes, they work on oil. They can't work with air, each brake unit has a small air bleed valve to release air from the brake circuit.

The SMC hydraulic valve also works on oil only, oil is filled at the top from a small tank or syringe.

This is NOT an air system.

I just recieved two pairs of brakes. Each should have a pipe connector with M3 thread. Only one of the four needed was supplied.

This is a pnematic brake actuator with a disk which (green on the picture) which is pushed outward from the housing. You have to install a matching metal disk on your wheel. The actuator has to be mounted on the strut parallel to the wheel and held on the strut so it cannot rotate with the wheel. On application of pressure the disk brake makes contact with the disk on the wheel and slows it.

Quite a neat unit, but it requires extra work to make it function properly. I wish HK will offer a full system.

Try to include as much data as possible.
