best charger ever. period

I used dynamite prophet quad 800watt and itsn't even close to this powerwise
functions: you're going to get lost in all these customizable options, you wont need much of them if you're beginner but it'll serve you on the long run (these are almost impossible to buy used)
very small sized to be honest I didn't paid attention to the dimensions when I purchased but expected something atleast as big as my dynamite which is twice as big and heavy

if you're in this hobby for long term you wont regret your investment in this charger for years to come.

even though there is huge debate on how useful cycling lipos, cycling old lipos on this charger atleast for me brought some life out of very old and weak lipos I had. they balance at 4.19 instead of 4.10 before.

my 2 cents
not for beginner as it'll cost 3 or 4 rtf planes but once you start understanding lipos and other batteries and need reliable charger this should be on the top of your list

Amazing quality. The slow balance feature of this charger repaired my slightly bloated 3D Lipo, one of the cells was under 3v. The pre-charge routine brought the "dead" cell up to 3.8v then the normal charge began.

After a reasonable short time, the battery was fully charged and balancing took about 20 minutes. Interesting enough, the battery reverted to its normal size and all cells were at 4.2v! The IR showed 5 mOhm, 5 mOhm and 9 mOhm!

When you set the charge cap; the charger even show you the charging in C rating. Like, 1C, 2C or 0.8C, taking the guess work out of computing.

So far NONE of my other chargers (except 206B) is as accurate as this 308 Duo.

I use this and the 206B with the eFuel 50AMP power supply.

Excellent charger. Seems to be very well though through and made out of quality components (compared to other chargers you find here around 100$ range). The best features I like are: it shows cells IR all the time and it's very convenient to use memory function: after you create profile for every battery you have just press enter to charge. You can also create profiles for HV lipo without risk to use it for normal ones. Max cell voltage is stored in the memory for every battery you save, not in the global charger settings like on all other chargers.
The only con - dials are not intuitive to work with all the menus.
If you serious into the hobby - get this one. In my experience cheap 100W plus charges don't last as it's hard to make lasting charger out of the cheapest components.

A very well designed and capable charger/dis-charger. I particularly like the SD card logging, computer connectivity, color screen, anti spark feature and ability to discharge the pack on one channel into a resistor bank (halogen headlight bulbs) on the other channel.

Oh and it is firmware upgradeable and it lets you calibrate the inputs if you need to..

Pros: This charger is great for charging lipos at high speed, it also has great balancing feature for charging and stand alone balancing.

Cons: The Charger does not balance lipo batteries in storage mode or discharge mode. This is a major drawback for a charger of this price and quality. Hopefully they fix this in the next update. If this con is corrected the charger would be a 5 Crown all around.

Very nice user interface, shows internal resistance while charging to know how good (old) your packs are, very fast balancing 1.2 amp per channel or 2.4 in sync, the fastest charger that can balance at the moment all other top chargers have 0.5 amp for balancing (excluding 4010duo which is the same balancing speed), handy USB port for charging my phone, i can charge 6* 6S 5000mah at 1C and 6* 3S 2200mah at 1C at the same time and this is not the maximum it can give (its 813watt out of 1300watt)
i personally prefer the 308 duo over the 4010 duo because its much smaller in size and i will not use the 2000watt power of the 4010 (1300 watt is more than i need
