The Illuminati 32 ensures your racing rig is a navigators delight by containing a 32-bit flight controller as well as an OSD in the same small package. Now you can get all your flight details straight on your display.

Finaly got it Working Well :)

Apr 05, 2021

Hi Hobby King Team , I would like to got back to my last review when I talked about the non working FC :
I FINALY got it working , because I din't setup my TX ( Devention Devo 12 E ) correctly :
The security of this FC is well done as the FC don't arm when the throttle lower end point din't go under the min_check value , to do it you have to set this value using the CLI of your FC configurator ( clean or beta_flight the same ).
First : when all stuff plugged, power the FC and you quad and the TX and read the value of Throttle signal into the configurator and note it.
Second : on your TX adjust the subtrim to lower the min value you read in the configurator note this value
Third : in the configurator then in the reciever tab search for the rolldown menu called "Stick Low threshold" and set it up a little more than the value your red in the step second e.g. : second step : value = 1001 , so set the Stick Low threshold at 1015 , and you will be able to arm your quad ...

Need more informations to get it working ...

Mar 28, 2021

So , even if the first one din't worked at all , the second I recieve had to be firmware upgrade , BUT not over the 2.0 Cleanflight firmware as I read over the too small amount of information . The connectors are handy , but I had to cut them to solder male connectors ahead the wires because ECS connectors are female too, but no matter I fortunatly have somme soldering skill allowing me to achieve this quickly.
But at this time , after initial setup , calibrating all we have to caliber , I can't still arm the quad even if I setup a switch for that ... This is why the overall note is average and not the max . I'm still searching for the reason why the FC don't want to arm.
Not tested yet : OSD and GPS connections.

Two out of two do not work.

May 21, 2019

The first unit i could not get to work at all. When plugged in I got the lights and that is as far as I got.
Made sure the pins were in the correct position but nothing.
I was sent another. This one actually allowed me to boot it, but as soon as it came up successful all lights went out and then no matter what i tried it would not work.
I now have two dead units and cannot be bothered to return them as they are obviously a complete load of rubbish.

Ok

As described, to bad it has an old firmware and reflashing it is a pain in the ~~~. Hardware identical with naze32 - don't try to reflash with firmware newer than 2018 beacause you will brick it. Use 2.0 configurator to connect to FC , 2.5 will not connect everyting else look ok

Good

Good board. Comes with wires which is very handy. Had to return it sadly because it doesn't have dshot ESC compatibility, which is what my ESCs are.

Works good!

Sep 11, 2018

This small FC is very practical for mounting because it has connectors for electric wiring to the drone components.
There is no buzzer connection. If You want to have buzzer it is necessary to connect one signal wire from uC.
It is easy to setup and I did not have any problems flying drone with this FC.

Finaly figured ppm option

Jul 02, 2018

when you flash naze firmware best is CF2.0 because then it still works blheli esc configuration.
For PPM you need to choose soft serial in configuration menu then in ports you will see two more options, one is for wire 4 and one is for wire 5. and its working flawlesly
