first impresion not bad.however, the rotor when turned by hand rubs on the stator windings.this shows a total lack of quality control.now I'm wondering if it's worth reclaiming or not?I guess some you win ,some you lose.hobby king it's the first time you've let us down.

Powerful motor running smooth.

I'm giving it only 3 stars because the front bearing getting shot after less than 1 hour run.

My application is a very high reving hotliner.

Propeller balanced. I guess the rpm is what shot it.

Replaced the bearing, and had no further problems.

I have 2 of this in my ISIKLAR-1mCAT,powered with 2x6S2P A123 and it runs 82km/h with 2 X457 Octuras.

This low RPM helps the motors to be efficient enough.

Our Tests with different boats,Cells and Props let us learn that more than 7SLiFe is to much for them.Running-Time lower than 6min.let him alive(because the Magnets are overheating and then he dies!!).

First time we think high RPM with lower Prop-Diam

Very great Motor, i'm using it in an 1/8 scale MonsterTruck like the MGT8.0 with 12,2:1 gearing, very good torque, it does an wheely at 20km/h and has an Maximum Speed which is about 65km/h, plenty for an MonsterTruck in this scale! After an Ride with my 6S2P LiFePos (15mins) it has an approximative temperature of ~50C. But i recommend you to solder the 4mm connectors again! Because they are not very good solderd! 5Stars for that Price/Power!!!

extremely powerful motor, put on 5" fan with 6s batt and has trmendous thrust, be sure to notch the shaft and secure the edf to it, my fan flew off it b/c of the power of the motor, and motor seems to get warm after a few seconds of static thrust but some after market cooling will fix that i think

A good price performance fore this motor. I will drill some holes in the front and back for using in a 5 inch fan unit for more cooling effect.
