Product Description

Take the stress out of sport flying with the fun and durability of the Old Fogey EPP slow flyer. This fun, all EPP foam airframe has a large high set wing and light weight giving the Old Fogey a very low wing loading, making it a perfect for those calm days at the field or park.

The Old Fogey arrives as a almost ready to fly kit so most assembly is required, although the parts count is low, meaning it can easily be built in one evening. In case of those abrupt arrivals with the ground the wing attaches with rubber bands. Carbon fiber reinforcement in the wing and tail means a stiffer airframe, and a crisper control feel. Rounding out this model is a complete hardware pack including light weight foam wheels. Just add your choice of motor, 9g servos, 20A ESC, and 3S 11.1V 1500~2200mAh Lipo. In very little time you can have the Old Fogey in the air at a very economical price.

I’m disappointed due to many reasons: some plywood parts are wrong sized, e.g. the lower crossbrace is too short, accidentialy realized it after glueing… I had to trim the EPP lower body part… it don’t looks that nice… The linkage stoppers are BS ‘cause they don’t stop anything without recutting the thread (it was’nt deep enough). I think that not everybody owns a tap sized M2… The ailerons are pointless, you are not able to roll the plane… not at all… So save your money for another airplane…
