I bought 20 sets for use on 250 drones middles school student were building. Still broke props but not as many as I would have. Paid for themselves many times over.

There is no way to attach them to HK FPV250 without drilling holes. Really thin and easily bending.

Used these on my 180mm Diatone ET 180 while learning. I used the 12mm mounting pattern, which worked ok. They are mighty big for 4 props but did the job. They break very easily (despite a smaller quad and modest crashes into fences/grass.). I think they mainly provide some protection against catching the props on walls. Once one of the three connecting segments break, the prop guard tends to shake/oscillate a bit. Some heatshrink and toothpicks are a good temporary fix to extend their life. They flex, which might be good. They are light. Id recommend them to friends learning how to fly. Im not sure how durable theyd be on a 250 class quad.

I bought a set to put onto a 250 size quad. The holes are offset so they match a Multistar Elite 2204-2300kv. Problem is the offset hole pattern means the wires run off to the same side, instead of having a choice where the wires run. In the interest of protecting the wires I omitted the prop guards.

If the guards were slotted instead of drilled, like the quad frames are, then the motor would not be forced into a single position.

I COULD have chose to route the wires where the guards would have forced them to run without problem, but I would rather have a little protection to the wires from the frame. I would buy a redesigned set with slots instead of holes.

The material is light and will offer only some protection. A stiffer, thicker guard would be welcome too.
