The S800 Sky Shadow-S is built for extreme FPV flying. The plane is constructed from almost indestructible EPP foam with six carbon fiber spars to provide strength and rigidity for excellent performance.

The aerodynamic wing gives stable flight throughout the entire flight envelope, from low speed passes to high-speed turns. The model has been well thought-out with ample room in the nose for an FPV camera and action cam, behind the camera is a large covered hatch for your battery and avionics allowing them to be neatly tucked away. In addition, there is also a compartment in each wing for the video transmitter and radio receiver.

The PNP Sky Shadow-S comes packaged with a 2205-2300KV brushless motor, 30A ESC, 9g servos, 5045 propeller, 5.8GHz 200W VTx and 700TVL FPV camera. All you need is your favorite radio system and a battery to get in the air.

Features:
• High quality, lightweight EPP foam construction
• Aerodynamic design for high speed, low wind resistance,  stable flight
• Comes with 3-Axis flight control to ensure a more stable flight
• 2205-2300KV motor
• 700TVL FPV camera for clear images
• 200mW VTx for real-time video transmission
• Fun to fly

This thing is a screamer with a 6040/6045 prop and stock motor, 2200mah battery. Comes with stabilizer and FPV gear which also work well. Easily does 50+ miles per hour. I didn't modify anything but the push rods and motor mount and it works great. Easy to put together, just take your time with it. It took me maybe 2 hours for the initial build, but checking everything, balancing, re-building parts I wasn't satisfied with took around 10 additional hours. I really wanted it to be high-quality and last a long time, so everything had to be perfect. You could probably have it flight ready in 3 hours tops, but if you want maximum speed, minimum weight, and durability expect to spend a while building this. With a 2200mah Floureon battery and the included FPV gear you don't need any nose weight. Use M3 bolts, 12 nuts, epoxy, and motor adapter to build a repairable motor mount instead of the permanent one that the instructions tell you to build.

I HAD NO PROBLEM PUTTING THIS TOGETHER,JUST TAKE UR TIME AND LAY IT ALL OUT BEFORE U GLUE THINGS DOWN. I,M USING 2200 3 CELL BATTERY SONY CAM UP FRONT HAD TO ADD SOME WEIGHT TO GET CG RIGHT.BUT IF USING GO PRO SHOULD BE RIGHT ON. FLY,S GREAT SLOW OR FAST.GET ONE U WILL LIKE IT AND THERE ARE PCS. OF FOAM TO PATCH ANY UNWANTED HOLE,S! PLUS THERE JUST ABOUT PAYING U TO TAKE ONE WITH ALL EXTRA,S THAT COME WITH IT! GET ONE BEFORE THERE GONE!!

Well, I assumed it was easy to put together, based on bill's review... Turns out, not so much!
Firstly, the FPV system: the wires are too short to reach from the transmitter to the camera - so I've got to splice on some extra wires just to make it long enough.
The instructions leave a lot to be desired as well, going back to the FPV system, there is no mention of which power you take off to power the camera, from the main power distribution board. Turns out, the Tx requires 7-24v (straight from battery), but the camera needs max like 12v - so on a fully charged lipo its going to get fried. So - camera requires power from the BEC (which for some reason is an extra chip, soldered onto the main board), but the tx requires straight battery power... Just so you're aware!
As someone who has never put together an RC plane, I had no idea how to link the servos to the ailerons - the manual just says stick the servos into the slots on the wing, and wire them up. Turns out there is a wire thing that you need to punch through the wing/aileron (see the photo in the store picture) and link up to the servo. (And you need to ream a hole out in the little arm of the servo so the screw fits).
Apart from the desire for better instructions, and longer molex cables for the FPV Tx, it looks good! Has been a blast to build, so I'd recommend it just for that. Now I just need my lipo to charge and I can actually try it out! I'm excited anyway!

nice wing not hard at all to put together.u have to do some soldering to hook up flight stabilizer and fpv,not that bad as guy in first review says.heck i almost did not purchase because of his review.but it,s not bad at all! get this heck the cam and transmitter is worth the price plus u get a stabilizer to go with it,might as well say wing is free with all the extra,s they throw in.

Great kit (eventhou it says plug and play and it is not) I was expecting spending less time soldering and more time just Pluging in and flying! and instructions don't help that much if this will be your first FPV attempt like me. it is more like a ARF kit But.......

The foam on this wing is VERY tough! it is a good material (best foam i've seen so far).
Assembly is required and if you are a first timer on FPV i will required a lot of soldering and time spending looking at youtube videos (i did) about to finish mine, i got to say that soldering is a pain for me and the camera to board connection assembly part is a HUGE pain! since wires might be a little short to reach the electronics bay, space inside is good and electronics are pretty much acceptable for a first try on FPV flying.

The wing is very durable and kinda good looking not too big not to small so you can take it everywhere on your trunk. i am kinda happy with purchase eventhou i was expecting less assembly time for me. I have seen videos that it flies very stable so i am hoping to get the same results once i am done with electronics!.....don't sell it as a PNP true is this is ARF.
