good little 3d trainer. you can crash it as much as you want and you'll be still able to fly it again with minimum efforts. I start learning fixed wing flying on similar one (yak 54) just reduce the rates too much and it'll fly as easy as Cessna.

excellent. shipping weight could be little less to keep the price reasonable.

Great little plane, balanced perfectly out of the box, using the list below:-

Plane - sbach 342 kit
Motor - Turnigy D2836/8 1100KVA BL Outrunner
Servo's - 929MG Metal Gear Servo 12.5gm (bought 4)
Speedy - Turnigy Plush 25A (didn't have 30A in stock)
Batt - Zippy Compact 3S 25C 1300mAh (bought 4)
Connectors - Nylon XT60 M/F 5- pack (for speedy)
Bullets - PolyMax 3.5mm Gold Connectors (for speedy)
Prop - SF E-prop 10x4.7 (5-pack) (Tried 9x4.7's but too small)
Servo Extensions - I think I used some 30cm's I had around

Assembly :- I/we assembled this over a few beers with some mates. Took about 2 hours all up taking our time with no urgency. A couple of points to not to save some time :-
* Cut the servo horn extensions with side cutters so that the servo screw can be accessed even with the horn extension screwed to the horn.
* I put the rudder clevis on the inside of the servo horn on the rudder to try and keep the throw more linear.
* Use the rubber grommets and brass ferrels with the 929MG's, they'll screw neatly in to the plywood servo mounts with the supplied screws
* 929MG's in the wing were faced as per the instructions and the cable was 'just' long enough for the receiver
* 929MG's were turned around on the tail so the cable would go forward to gain some length
* The plane was assembled entirely with CA only. Kicker will interfere with the paint if you touch it before it

Just had the maiden today, flies ablolutely awesome!

Electronics:

- Turnigy DST 1200kV Motor

- Hobbyking Blue 30A esc

- HXT900 Servos (of course)

- 9045 Slowfly prop

- 1300mAH Lipo

The airframe was a breeze to build, instuctions werent bad and the rigidity of this thing is superb! Flies brilliantly with D/R (Ailerons: 40pcnt, Elevator: 40pcnt, Rudder: 55pcnt)

Would definately recommend, great work Hobbyking!

Fantastic plane, highly recommended. The motor mount is VERY strong, but predrilled holes didnt match ant of my motors. So I drilled the holes bigger & used cable ties to mount the motor. Mostly prebuilt, just glue on the wing & tail, add electrics & youre finished. Plenty of pre-installed carbon. USE METAL GEAR SERVO's . The slot for the landing gear is on a strange angle, I didnt use the small lading gear, just belly land it. Not as floaty or maneuverable the Reaktor, the wing may be a bit small for the plane, but can fly in wind & is very maneuverable . I think it should be fairley crashproof, great for me just trying to learn 3D.

A good 3D flyer, not as precise as a Reaktor. Neutral C of G 108mm back from LE of wing at root. 45 to 50 gram motor, 1200 to 1400 kv, APC 9 x 4.7 prop, 18 to 25 amp speedy, 9 gram servos all round with 3D arms, Nanotec 3C 950mah Lipo. 5 Min flight. 50pcnt expo on Ail & Elev None on rudder. Mine needed right thrust ( 2 washers) up thrust ( 1 washer).

Excellent plane, this was my first epp plane, I use a donkey 3007 1100kv, with 25A ESC, 10 x 4.7 propeller and a 1300 3S battery, and it's amazing, this is the plane that I always carry with me in my car because I know that I will fly wherever I go, not to mention that I fall 06 times and is still in great condition

This is my first Parklyer/3d plane, so cant compare it to others but this is an awesum plane for those on a budget, it's perfect for beginners like me and super fun for the more experienced Pilots (friends that are really good Pilots) they luv it!.. what it lacks in looks it makes up for in fun!..
