Tamiya's CC-01 (Cross Country) chassis is the ultimate platform for building scale renditions of full scale off road classics. The classic in this case is the formidable Land Rover Defender 90 which is an iconic 4WD vehicle that enjoyed a long production run from 1948 until 2016. It is used the world over including some of the remotest parts of our planet and Tamiya have captured the spirit, the look and the ruggedness of this masterpiece of engineering.

Features of the highly reliable CC-01 chassis are built in wheel arches, shaft driven 4WD using universal joints, 4-link rigid suspension with CVA oil dampers, sealed front and rear gearboxes with precision differentials. The accurate and realistic clear polycarbonate body includes features such as lights, radiator grille, door mirrors, roll cage and door hinges to replicate the rugged realism of the Defender 90. As per other Tamiya car kits the Land Rover Defender 90 requires assembling from the kit of parts and the bodyshell also requires painting in the colors of your choice.
